Actually, I have to admit that while I read appreciated everyone's push-up and chin-up advice, I hadn't yet gotten up the courage to add those suggestions to my workouts! Except that I have done push-ups a few days a week before I do spelling with my boys. Each time I have done that I discovered that I could do one more than last time. I am up to 11 now.
My husband and I just a few weeks ago reduced our lift days to 2 for family reasons, and this week I skipped one because I wasn't feeling well.
That was my first "break" since starting to lift. Maybe it was helpful?
I am now very excited to lift tomorrow.

Squat: 105.5x5x3
Press: 63.5x4 weird stiff neck/upper back thing happened. Decided to stop here today.
Deadlift: 148x5 whew!
