How's the heavy FS programming working for you?
The shoulder is a pain in the ass, but Tbone knows how to deal with by using days without (heavy) overhead work. It helps a lit.
The heavy FS are going great, with the exception of these past couple of days. I went way to hard on Monday and my quads have consequently been sore to a very high extent.
Do you find they're helping with your snatch and clean?
I'm just curious btw. This whole idea of a low number of reps per set (triples being a high number) and being "explosive" is new to me, but it's what Rachel and I worked out in programming. It's kind of a love hate thing at the moment, but I'm not very explosive hence the need to become explosive.
Well, the snatch is it's own monster. Being able to front squat more has definitely help me clean better.
The reason I do singles is because I am looking to max out as much as possible. I don't know about this explosiveness business. I have yet to actually be explosive (not intentionally).
