236 and change today. Was 242-ish after vacation, so down about six pounds in the first week back on board. That's loaded up on creatine to boot.

I also PRed on deadlift today (285x5) and squat on Thursday (315x2). feelsgoodman.jpg

Update: after a while of procrastinating i finally started counting calories. I've been dieting the last 2 weeks - so far I've lost 3kg.

95 now, going down to the low 80s.

Re-introducing this challenge to myself. Freshly back from vacay, 10+ lbs in the last 4 weeks or so. Time to drop 8-10.

Eating about 2000-2500 cal/day, less than 80 g carbs, doing 5/3/1 and popping a few benadryl before bed (apparently helps with controlling cortisol). Feels good man.
How's 5/3/1 working for you on a caloric deficit? I was thinking of doing the same. Judging by your most recent posts, our lifts are probably around the same area, though you might be slightly ahead of me.

I'm a fatty. Can I join in? I'm trying to lose weight through calorie counting, healthy-ish eating and roughly three meals a day. It's working, slowly. It's keeping it up that will be the problem.

5/3/1 is great volume-wise for cutting. I've been using the BBB template plus some extra assistance work, some triceps stuff and neck harness work. Conditioning has mostly been LSD cardio for the sake of convenience instead of hill sprints. SS programming and volume is just a little too crazy on this big of a deficit.

I'm just about to start my third cycle. To give you an idea of my current lifts: Squat 315x2, DL 285x5, Bench 140x3, MP 115x2. I still have to jump into pull-ups and chins but they're slowly getting easier, a legit dead hang on both is not that far off. I see this phase of my training as more of evaluating and maintaining my lifts as my body weight drops.

I weighed in at 237 last night at a hair under 22% body fat (again, have loaded on creatine). Once I hit 230 I'll be sub-20%. At my short term goal of 220, I'll probably be in the 16-18% range. I've quit taking that 7-keto stuff and now take something like 10g l-arginine, 5g l-glutamine, and 5g creatine monohydrate two or three times a day, on an empty stomach upon waking and before going to bed and once before training if it's a lift day. I read some anecdotal and clinical evidence about glutamine and arginine spiking GH levels when it's timed in this manner. It's just been the last four weeks or so that I've been doing this but it's either working or giving me the gnarliest pump known to mankind. My chest, triceps, and traps are noticeably larger.

Quit ECA this week because it makes me crazy.

242-ish (finally fully loaded on creatine) and 20.9% body fat. Another 10 pounds and I'm in the "normal" weight bracket.

Yeah, it's been interesting reading accounts by various people of their experiences on the stack. Everything from "the pills, they do nothing" to "omfg psychotic break from reality".

So far it's been a nice trip.

What kind of dose are you on? Even on the standard 25 mg E/200 mg C once or twice a day I was not a happy camper.
