I would pay good money to see the Mangold kids roughhousing. Brother is faster and has a big reach advantage, but sister has 50lbs on him... The potential for awesome property damage is awesome.

I guess we can wait and see if she keeps the high bodyfat or leans out as her career as a lifter progresses.

Holly played offensive line for her state champion high school football team. If you watched the "MTV True Life: I'm the Big Girl" you can watch Nick being a huge dick to his sister.
I didn't see this but heard about it. Made me hate nick mangold.

I hope that is not followed by a "yet".

I would imagine it's because women's options for professional athletics are very limited so their top athletes are available for lifting. In the men's world the top athletes are competing for million dollar contracts in football, basketball, hockey, and baseball.

It's time for a Bo Jackson of weightlifting. Just work it into your contract that every four years your gonna take some time off from training football.

And not just in the sense that football steals natural athletes away from other sports, but the infrastructure so much more robust and made available to Americans.

It's just like any national sport. Here in Canada we produce a lot of the best Hockey players because every kid is exposed to hockey from a young age and most just naturally gravitate towards it. There are also way more places to go play hockey here than other sports like football.

When I was a kid I played pretty much the highest level of soccer that I could for where I lived in Canada. I then went to visit family in Scotland and we had a pickup game with some locals. Every single kid there was good enough to play rep soccer in Canada and most of the people never played soccer outside of casual pickup play.
