Do you feel like your cardio or GPP is any better? You know, getting winded going up stairs and the general stuff that happens when we gain a decent bit of weight.

The link is gone again. Possibly sold out? If anyone finds it back up again be sure to post it here. Seems like a great buy.

I was contemplating pulling a sled using a track harness so that my mid section is also worked as compared to a belt.

Goddamnit. I just dropped more than twice that on the rogue Butcher sled. Fuck me.

How much did that come to with shipping?

I was planning on getting this one since it's local and it's just a big piece of metal you push and probably not something that needs amazing manufacturing quality.

Definitely, but I've also been riding my bike to work a lot over the last month or two. I'm sure they build on each other. The low intensity bike ride (3 miles each way - done at a pace that doesn't get my work clothes too sweaty) lays a foundation. And the prowler probably helps with both general conditioning and with high intensity output (like sprinting for the bus on days that I don't ride my bike).

It was interesting to see that after a winter off from the prowler, the first time I got it out; it was much easier than I expected. I pushed it with ~135 lbs added for 10x30 yards and felt pretty good. I did take long rests, but I didn't puke or feel like I was going to die or anything that I recalled from prowler workouts last season. So maybe the biking got me in shape for the sled, or adding however many pounds to my squat over the winter gave me some extra power. Probably a combination of the two.

Interesting, the product copy on this site is cut and pasted from the prowler description at elitefts. They even kept the same dimensions - I wonder if the knock off really measures the same?

Not sure how much the shipping cost by itself. The B&R bar, the Butcher, and a pair of Rip's shoes cost just below 750, and I forked out 900 after the shipping. And Rogue hasn't even loaded the shit onto a truck from the states yet, I ordered 2 weeks ago.

Fuck, good luck with that. I had to e-mail them after 2 weeks before they shipped my microplates from the states. It was at least another good 2 weeks after that before I saw it.

Anyways, nice buy. Enjoy your stuff and let us know how the bar is. I want one soon too.

I can't comment on the rest of the gear, but I'll say the bar is pretty sweet. I also like their socks; they are long and thick, great for deadlifting.
