Hey Coach, I'm one month into the novice SS program, started at
BW 173
Squat 135
Press 95
Bench 115
Deadlift 135
Power Clean 95
12 workouts later:
BW 183
Squat 235
Press 120
Bench 140
Deadlift 210
Power Clean 120
As you can see my squat is more than my deadlift (and only this week will start to converge slowly, since I just dropped to 5lb jumps on my squat), and this makes me sad. I don't want to jack up the novice program, but I want to make sure I get the most out of it. In retrospect I should have established my deadlift well ahead of my squat, as it just started to feel heavy at 195.
Should I drop cleans and deadlift every workout for a few, make jumps larger than 15lb, leave it alone?
