Started January 3rd 2012. Looking to get strong for BJJ.
First lifts were
Squats: 3*5*155
Bench: 3*5*155
Press: 3*5*85
Deadlift: 3*5*185
Although, really the only one that was relatively challenging was the press, and not really that much.
Goals by end of August are:
Squats: 3*5*275
Bench: 3*5*220
Press: 3*5*135
Deadlift: 5*305
Power Clean: 5*3*135
Current 3*5 rep maxes are:
Squats: 290
Press: 135
Bench: 225
Dead lift: 305
Power Clean: 155
I squat and bench on one workout, then dead and press and PC the next. Assistance exercises when i have time. Train every other day.
5'10, 31 years old. 200-210 pounds.
UPDATE, 11/13/2012: I was out from a torn hip labrum surgery for a couple of months, so am now starting LP again.
