I think instead of deloading I'm going to switch to triples whenever my next set of 5 feels like too much. I'll stop before 5 and just do another set and push the weight up the following week.
I also go a new protein shipment in. Vanilla Birthday Cake HydroWhey, yaaaaaay!
Backload: Had little time. 30g dextrose, 100g potatoes, 30g banana.

4x240 I might've had 5; probably not. Didn't have a spot and didn't want to grind. I was looking for a spot and all that was around was a bunch of skinny 13 year olds. I felt that this was a lack of energy rather than strength. A hollow PR.

Backload: 30g dextrose, 160g potatoes, 75g frozen yogurt, a marshmallow(it looked good). ~260g. The lack of energy pissed me off so I went a little high on carbs. Not going to miss tying my deadlift PR tomorrow.
Not hitting bench was kind of a bitch. Woke up flat, felt lethargic before the gym. Debating again whether to switch bench to triples and just push through to 245. I know I'll be able to hit 5x240 next week.
