Nice session, man. Damn, I'm 10 pounds heavier than you right now.

Congrats on the Infiniti! Awesome car...don't hit any raccoons. Mine (my wife's) is a 2008 model. The bumper looks like new now :-)

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Congrats on the car. You are going to have a great time at WF. The SS seminar is the best money that I have ever spent on any educational product or seminar in my 15 years as a trainer.

Weight- 182.0. One of the companies I consult for (Precision Metabolic Analysis) has a bod pod and I got measured yesterday- 8.6% BF. I'd post a pic but that might be a little, ummm, unprofessional. Eeek. Anyway, I leave Thursday morning to go to Dallas. From there I've got a rental car to drive up to WFAC to train thurs and fri, then the SS seminar over the weekend. Super pumped!

Tuesday- June 5th Lower Body Volume

Paused Box Squats (2" + below parallel) @ 275lbs x 2 x 10 on a minute clock, explosive. Trying to figure out how to get more confident at the bottom of my squats so intensity days keep going up. We'll see how Friday's training goes in response to this.
Speed Deads- monster mini (2) shorty bands + 145kg (319lbs) bar weight x 1 x 15 on 30s clock. Very explosive. Hook gripped them. My thumbs hurt, oops.
    Paused Good Mornings- 100kg x 5 x 2
    GH situps + 10lbs x 20 x 3 sets

Thursday- Jun 7th Upper Body ID

Plane left STL at 845am and I arrived to Dallas at 1020am. Rented a car and drove to WFAC (2 + hrs) and checked in at the HOJO. Immediately unpacked and went to WFAC to train, where I was promptly greeted by a single member training. He was 63 years old and squatting 275 and gave me a lay of the land. I was tired, underfed, but I still needed to train:

Bench Press- 315 x 1 x 5, 320x 1, 317 x 1 (everything felt heavy today which I chalk up to being tired and underfed but I also am considering going back to the normal 5x5 volume days at a bit lighter weights.....not sure yet but Rip said to "not get away from 5's too often)
    Press- 185 x 1, 195 x 1, 200 x 1, 202 x 1, 205 x 1 (nice and easy,super strict)
Paused Steep Incline Press- this was much steeper than my incline so I did the following: 185 x 5, 205 x 5, 215 x 5 all with a long pause
    Weighted Chins @ 50.5lbs x 8, 55.5lbs x 8
    LTE + fat bar curls
    Chin Up ladders

Went back to hotel to shower and then Rip took me to Gene's Burgers to talk training, life, and business. He told me that if I really wanted to be good at powerlifitng I should weigh at least 220 but more like 242-275 lol. That's like another 40-100lbs of bodyweight. Naturally, Rip ordered me a triple cheeseburger (no buns for either of us) with chili on it, and told me to get the fries. Halfway through this he ordered me a milkshake and said, you're gonna pull 600 tomorrow so you better be well fed for that. That's right folks, I'm making a run at 600 tomorrow with Steve in ATL and Rip all training at the same time. Super pumped. I'm at the hotel now after picking up some supplies- protein powder, oats, jerky, rice cakes, tuna, and water. Looking forward to tomorrow!
