Well I watched the platform video on pull-up grip, just a bit late. I've been doing them the wrong way for a while and now I have a torn callus on my pinky, actually a bit below the main callus.

I went ahead and trained oly last night. The biggest problem was catching the bar at the hang so I started dropping it. So far nothing has bled, I may have lost another layer of skin though. I started off with a bandage and some "New Skin". The bandage was quickly shredded and the "New Skin" peeled off as well.

So, how much luck have you guys had training through these pesky little sores? Any special wrapping tricks?

Torn calluses suck a bit. If you think you can handle it, you can do the gymnast option.

Fill a microwave safe bowl of water with just shy of boiling water and add as much salt as you can get to dissolve. Reheat and repeat. Allow to cool a few minutes so you don't burn yourself. Soak the torn blister/callus for 20 minutes 3x/day for 2 days (no need to reheat).

I've never had a wound like this heal faster. Stings like a mother the first few soaks if the rip is deep though.
