What is your goal from posting this? You know you need to get lower, so you should do that and then post a video for critique once you correct the obvious mistake of yours.

I need programming advice. This was volume day on the TM @ 277.5lbs. Intensity was 320 lbs. Should I ditch TM until I fix depth issue and go back to linear progression at a lighter weight? This was only my 3rd week of TM. I finished LP at 315*5*3, but now I'm doubting whether I was doing depth at that point either.

I think you should fix the depth issue immediately, and go back to LP at a lighter weight. Everything not done at proper depth doesn't count.

Have you tried rubbing lotion on the skin?

What weight should I start with? Should I do the SS method of doing sets of 5 until the bar slows down?

+1 at the depth the OP is hitting I could hit a 400 lb squat no doubt. It's humbling to squat to depth when you're way high, but otherwise it really doesn't count for much.

I would re-read the section on squats in SS3 if I were you. Tips that helped me hit depth when I went through this same thing was to keep my feet shoulder width apart (it may be wider than you think--get a ruler) and turning my toes out more than I thought I needed. This helps a _lot_. Then, do the 3x5 at 135 at the proper depth. You will be sore, probably, even at the light weight. You can pretty quickly progress back up to a decent weight, but you must get proper depth.

    That's what I would do.

Drop down to a weight you can reach full depth at for 3x5, get your technique solid and go from there. Don't be shocked if it is 135, you'll get back to 3 plates in time and you will be much better off because of it. And don't get hung up on what you were 1/2 squatting before, it doesn't matter.
