Default British Daily Mail Openly Supporting French Fascist Presidential Candidate

The Daily Mail is one of the UK's most popular newspapers. It's often full of bullshit made up or poorly researched stuff, celebrity gossip, sexy soapstars and fear mongering ranting about immigrants and the death of princess diana. So it's almost never a surprise to see the stuff they come out with.

But openly supporting the leader of the French National Front? This is a bit shocking for us here in the UK, as we are generally very moderate about everything and very much orientated around political correctness and fairness in the public domain.

Think of how much web traffic they must be getting with all these charmingly shocked Brits posting about it on their favorite webforums.

It is not the Daily Mail: it is a single blogger on the Daily Mail site.

Good point, but I never look at the hardcopy version so have no idea how much from "Mail Online" goes to print.

I'm pretty sure either the owner or chief editor or someone massively important (at the daily Mail) was actual friends with Hitler; i read it in a book - honest!

Revisionist history aside, many Europeans respected Hitler prior to WWII because of how he had turned Germany around during his reign. Most Europeans at the time didn't give two shits about the Jews either.

That said, I highly doubt that guy in the photograph is still alive to be any part of the Daily Mail. He looks to be at least 40 years old, probably more like in his 50s.

I'm shocked, shocked, to find that the Daily Mail has actual articles online, and not just pics of celebrities in bikinis!

You folks had a number of people who were cozy mit Der Fuhrer. Oswald Mosely comes to mind, as does the Duke of Windsor.

The daily mail openly supported the British Facist Party so this is nothing new really. I still think the paper itself is hilarious though.

Also allow me to post the famous 'daily mail headline generator'
