"Hulk smash puny god" was by far the highlight of the film.

For DC it's Batman hands down. For Marvel it's Black Panther. It's just a shame that no one seems to be able to write for the character.

I'm a Batman fan. You gotta love someone who can roll with the likes of Superman because of years of dedicated physical and mental training. Robin can be cool depending on the version. I think it makes no sense for a guy like Batman to run around with a little kid wearing bright colors and short-shorts, but some versions of Robin make him a little older and give him a cooler and more practical costume.

    Batman.

But that's probably down to the fact that I secretly think with a couple of billion in my trust fund and time to train I could be Batman.

    Wolverine is a close second.

+1 to the Avengers being awesome.

I can see good things for Joss Whedon if he keeps up this level in his directing. A good level of action mixed in with some true laugh out loud moments.

I watched Hulk (2003) last night after seeing AA on Saturday night. It was shit and really felt like the film never properly got going. I think Ang Lee tried too hard to give the effect of a comic book in his directing style.

The followup the Incredible Hulk isn't much better. I don't think the hulk is a strong enough character to carry a whole film, but as part of an team he works great.

I think the equation changes with Ruffalo, because he makes Banner far more interesting.
