Im a bit late, but why did you deload when you failed at 90kg? You should have simply tried 90 the next time you deadlifted. If you failed that session then do some reps at 80 etc. Then, the next session try 90 one more time (if fail then do some 85s).

If you fail 90 three times then you deload 10%. No need to make it harder on yourself.

It was more of a form deload to be honest, needed a bit more practice. Squats are coming close to a form deload as I am having a few issues with bar placement and depth.

After a bit of time off due to having a massive pain in my butt (possible tendon or piriformis issue) I did a workout last night:

    Squat:
    65kg

This was the most I could do without a massive amount of pain

    Bench:
    45kg

    Deadlift:
    90kg

Butt is hurting today, finding it hard to walk :-(

Bugger, just looked at my original training plan, and due to my butthurt and not training properly for two week, I am well out of line with my expected lifts. Today I should have totalled 605, my goal from the 2012 goals thread. Things are starting to feel better so should get back on track starting on saturday. Hopefully my adiPowers should turn up by then.

Woop, my neighbour signed for the adiPowers this morning. Annoyingly only 10 minutes after I had left for work. Frickin typical. Nevermind, gonna get back in the gym in the morning and try and get back on my training schedule. Been proper useless this week in getting up in time to get some breakfast down me. :-(

Trainers feel awesome. Bed calls as I have been up too long arguing about that damn bar path for a lift I don't even fucking do. Hate it when something bugs me and I don't understand it.

    Squat - 67.5kg
    OHP - 37.5
    DL - 97.5

Squat is still hurting me but grinding through it for now. Was fairly surprised with my OHP performance as I have not done it for a while. DL was more of a supersetted 2 rep and 3 rep to make up the 5. First two did hook grip, fucking hurt so took a breather and for the very first time tried with opposing grip and ripped that shit up off the floor :-)

2 wheel deadlift next time. I can do it. Will post my 3rd set of squats in a bit. Technique was a bit shonky, but I think I am nearly their with them, and the trainers really helped as I don't think I have ever felt my feet be quite so grounded.

First work out for a while due to having the flu and the pain in my arse so took a minor deload across the board and am now feeling good.

    Squat:
    5,6*,5 x 60kg

These felt good, depth was just right, and narrowed my feet a bit and no pain in my butt :-D
(* thought I had only done 4, so took an extra just in case, reviewing footage shows I did 5+1)

    Press:
    3x5x35kg

Felt good, a bit of a struggle mid set, but got a second wind and busted them out.

    Deadlift:

    1x5x95kg

Warm ups felt a bit off, so took my adiPowers off and went in socks for a couple more sets. My arches started to ache, so went to find my normal trainers and got distracted by the womens Beach Volleyball, so went back and did a quick 5 @ 95. Could have managed more I think.
