I agree. I went to two different GNC stores in town, and both times I got the sales pitch for the "better" protein. The funny thing is that I am buying the GNC concentrate brand, so you think they would be happy with that?

And dietary cholesterol doesn't amount to anything, so it can be ignored.
My buddy is broscientist that works at gnc...you can be assured they get a higher commision on selling certain products so most of what product they recommend is based on their own finanical interest
But if you get "GNC Pro Performance® 100% Whey Protein" (http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3244942) it's only 21g of protein per serving.

I think that pretty well settles it. Alas, they don't make the Wheybolic Extreme in unflavored so i stuck with the old one.
Also i'd like to point out that the 100% whey is also billed as a "proprietary blend" of concentrate, isolate and hydrolized whey. The blend may very well be something like 97%/2%/1%, but still.
More importantly to the OPs particular purchasing decision: if you look at the ON Natural 100% Whey you'll note that their blend lists "isolate" first in their blend and on their site it even says (http://www.optimumnutrition.com/prod...ard-p-202.html ) "Whey Isolates are the primary protein source".
So... the guy was bro-sciencing... and not even doing it very well. Around here they pull the same stuff. It's particularly funny when it's not actual bros pushing it but 50 -60 year old Asian ladies who i suspect have never been in a gym, let alone touched a weight. They also keep trying to sell me multi-vitamin packs at some ridiculous price.
You do know that the serving size for the 21g of protein is one scoop, and the serving size for the 60g one is 3 scups, right?
