I guess I need to look into getting true fractional plates. Right now I'm using chains that weigh about 3 pounds total. I'll give this a go again next week and see if I can come up with the last three reps.

Thanks for the advice on the TUBOW method. I didn't actually put the wood into play, but watching a couple videos of how to do it helped me to better understand how to correct my knees in the squat.

I'll have to continue focusing on setting my back. Even though I got all my reps this week, the fourth rep in particular was pretty bad IMO. I might try this weight again next week.

I did some traveling this weekend with my wife, so I ended up missing Fridays light day and Sundays medium day. I decided to squat 85% of last Wednesdays work sets (between light and medium), and also do my scheduled press from last Friday. I think I'll squat as planned on Wednesday, but do a deload on the bench next week, given the heavy presses today. I'll shoot for 3x5x138 on press this Friday.

Shitty all the way around. I should have probably deloaded 5-10 pounds from last heavy day given the disruption to the schedule but let ego get the best of me. Form was bad and I didn't rest long enough between first and second sets. I'll be out of town again this weekend, but plan on still getting a true medium day in on Sunday.
Given how squats went, I decided to take a small deload day on the other lifts.

I was out of town again this weekend, so I missed Fridays light day. Did a medium day for squat, and light day for press. I should get a full week in this week. I'm not too happy with my squat form right now. I'll play it by ear on Wednesday as to what my squat weight will be for that day.

This went much better today. I posted a form check and got some good advice from veryhrm. Everything felt tighter and went up easier than last Wednesday. I'll probably give 295 a go next week.

I decided to go ahead and move to three's on bench. The last few weeks have been a war getting through the fives. I'll run 4x3 across until that starts to stagnate, then I'll move to 5x1 across. I think I still have quite a ways to go on squat, deadlift, and press before I move on to the triples.

Really focused on setting my knees and not rocking back at the bottom of the squat, as discussed in my recent form checks. Everything went well. I'll probably go to 265 on Sunday for my medium day and will assess where to go from their depending on how the form looks.
