    Just purchased 15 pounds of New York strips, cut and individually shrink wrapped, for $3.99/pound. Score! Gotta love the local butcher as opposed to the supermarket.

    Wow! What part of the world are you in? My local butcher offers fantastic deals sometimes but I don't think I've ever seen NY strip for that cheap.

    Northern Michigan. Also recently picked up a bunch of bacon wrapped tenderloin steaks for $8.99/pound. From the same butcher.
