i thought i cleared this up in another thread, but i guess not
i'm stonerider -- i'm not using stonerider because i couldn't recover my password (forgot the email address i used to register)
Rip & i didn't have an argument.. i asked a question that he kept dancing around, and i wasn't satisfied with the answers he was giving so i just dropped it
i wasn't trying to trap anyone in the Q&A -- just wanted to know where he drew the line between bad and acceptable technique... but instead of telling me or saying that he would rather speak about it in person or that he teaches it at a seminar or anything, he was a faggot and said "when a person gets injured"
lame fucking answer
i respect Rip a lot as a coach and for what he's contributed to the strength training community, but on the forum, he's a jackass, like everyone in the "in crowd" here
OP I would just stay consistent with squat depth, experiment with your hip height deadlifting and keep the bar close as you pull so, as TomC said, it comes off your thighs. Hang cleans can help with your timing and positioning.
why do you think i'd give a shit what some weekend warrior thought of me?
It's not about what you thought, silly!
