Worth the $150 or so a bottle they seem to charge for it? (Assuming we're talking about a whiskey in the 20-25 year old range)

At least, I thought the bottle said Reserve on it, but I could be mistaken. It damn sure was Rittenhouse, and it wasn't in the regular bottle.

They have a rittenhouse reserve in my local liquor store. I think it's aged 25 years.

I have. I'm unimpressed with it's complexity, but maybe it was cheap stuff.

If a Brazilian didn't bring it to you, it's most likely the cheap stuff. If I ever manage to get my fat ass to Wichita Falls, I'll bring you some of the good stuff.

Is Southern Comfort a not real/girly whisky?

You don't know a lot about whisky, among many other things.

What are these many other things?

I'm 20, and British. I'm happy with lager with southern comfort being my 'strong' drink. And I'm ok with that.

While I'm ashamedly rather partial to SC, it is not whisky in any way shape or form. I believe it's basically grain alcohol (or possibly bourbon?) mixed with peaches and a shit load of sugar. It's the 150lb 1/4 squatting kid of the spirit world.
