Smoking one cigarrette has to put more carcinogens on your system than a smoked porkchop, yet people that smoke a pack a day often live to a ripe age.

I'd say that if you are eating over 20 pieces of smoked meats a day that you may (or may not) need to be concerned. Then again, eating all that meat day in and day out may (or may not) bring more pressing health concerns.
