I can only attribute this to the fact that I look like much more of a man now, with more muscle and a serious looking goatee then I was when I was skinny and without facial hair. Patients in general are fairly respectful to me, even in environments when shit can happen such public clinics and hospitals. Every now and then a classmate comes to me saying "man, that patient was being so fucking rude, talking shit all over the place" and I'm always like "why does that shit never happen to me?"

Also, they feel bigger in my hands.
