I heard about this but decided not to post it. What I find truly astounding is this was out of DUHluth, MN of all diverse places in flyover country. Given the prevalence of heavy metals found in that neck of the woods, I'd say some of that toxicity has leached into the drinking water locally. Almost like those occasional outbreaks of ergot poisoning in the wheat crops of France with the attendant hallucinations and hysteria. Even a few burnings at the stake for witchcraft.

I have worked with partners in squad cars who just happened to be Black whose life I regarded as important to protect as my own. I'd have died for Levia Moultrie and damn near did one night when we got surrounded by a mob. I broke that cheap-ass whore Eunice Higgin's arm when she tried to disembowel Elbert Gould one night on a foot patrol on the Levee and then pulled him off that Black hoochie to save his career when he was ready to beat her to death over it.

What an utterly vacuous, thoughtless message. White folks are treated with respect by society, and that's what's unfair? No, that's fair and right... the problem is that some people aren't. This PSA gets it 100% wrong; me being treated with some dignity doesn't diminish anyone's circumstance. Treating other people badly is the problem.

White guilt is such a stupid phenomenon. I'm sympathetic to the legacy of racial (and other) discrimination in the US, but I don't perpetrate it and refuse to feel shame for it. This is a case where the American political left needs to get its head out of its ass.
