If you're gonna do 3 reps for powercleans, do 8 sets of 3 ramped up to keep the total volume close to 5x5
I did SSS for a while. Managed to tear/pull my intercoastal (FUCK that hurts) on powercleans. Most likely from putting it down wrong on a heavy set of five. I say threes. I work out with OL-lifters now, and have before as well. I've never seen them clean/snatch more than a triple.
Take it for what it's worth. In any case I'd consider adding a set or two, as suggested, to keep volume (or timed total tonnage as Starr calls it) similar.
