    Default Refeed

Holy shit I was supposed to eat 650-850g carbs today for this keto refeed and I didn't think it would be a big deal. But it is harder than I thought.

I ate a medium meat lovers pizza -216g carbs, 2400 calories
Grocery store sushi - 40g carbs, 600 calories? I forget
Ham sandwich - 40g carbs, maybe 5-600 cals
Almost a whole box of triscuits, but there's probably 1 serving worth of the broken half triscuits that I said fuck it to - 160g carbs, about 1000 cals
Cinnamon raisin bagel - 60g carbs, 270 cals
    2 protein shakes - total of 24g carbs - 400 calories

So I'm at ~540g carbs and ~5300 cals. I'm reaching that point where I'm thirsty as shit more than anything, and I've read a few guys who say that's the point where you should stop. So I'm probably gonna cut it here. I'm also sweating my ass off, my stomach is stuffed, and my insides are not happy--making all sorts of noises and gurgling haha.

Should I continue on? I know I could smash another bagel or 2 down.

    Thoughts? Similar experiences? Trolls?

    Are you not entertained?!

Oh and before anyone freaks out this is a once a week occurance that is supposed to have positive effects overall. And my average daily intake is around 3000-3200 calories. So it's an extra 2000 calories in one day, cry about it.

I bet it's either you're not used to it (you will, trust me) or it's the damn protein shakes. No liquids homeboy, they take up too much space. Tsk tsk. Anyway, you got it easy, I try to make my carb refeeds "clean" so I eat nothing but 2 cups(uncooked) white rice. Quantity might not be as much as yours but it's fucking tasteless as shit.

Yeah, ya know I figured I should still try to get some decent protein intake though.

And yeah what the hell is with that rice? Do you at least add some hot sauce or something?

I made a huge banana strawberry milkshake post workout yesterday and that made me struggle to get enough food in. Shakes are too damn filling.

Well you gotta wash your food down with liquid at some point after, maybe make that your shake(with just protein +water). How big is your time window?

I once tried the Anabolic Diet. I couldn't handle the weekend carb refeeds. I tried it for like two months and gave up.

The eating was fun enough, but about 4 hours into every refeed I would start to feel extremely drowsy, like hit-by-a-truck drowsy, then I would feel the gurgling in my stomach start. 8 hours in I'm farting like a champ and barely able to keep awake. 12 hrs in I constantly feel like I'm going to poop my pants and just shoot water out of my butt when I finally hit the porcelain throne.

I don't know if it was the fiber, gluten, carbs, or what. I loved the way I felt during the week, but after two months of terrible weekends I gave up. Now I just eat meat and veggies all the time with carbs during workouts.
