My main curiosity is if Urologists are more likely to throw a prescription for T at somebody, or if they would have a person go through the same amount of testing as an Endo. would recommend for somebody.

If you are over a certain age and under a certain level, getting a prescription from your family Doc should be easy as pie. The problem is probably getting enough of a dose so the trade off is worth it.

Joe Rogan Podcast #277 with Victor Conte, a steroid and sports performance expert, pretty fascinating.

As with many drugs there are downsides for HRT. Androgel 1% testosterone can cause accelerated permanent baldness and flushing of blood to lower extremities meaning your feet and calves will swell and you may then need to wear compression stockings that reach to slightly below the knee. There are many other possible side-effects, try a Google search for Androgel to learn more.
