    Default Returning from break

I was running starting strength till the start of may this year I moved my squat to Texas method and stalled almost immediately. My squat was at 148 kg. I tried again after a rest and failed so I moved back to starting strength at a reduced weight in the hope of building back up with momentum but I stopped at the start of June until today. I'm going to start linear progression again on all lift and do it right this time. Iv picked and arbitrary start point of 110kg for my squat is this to high? What would be the hard and fast rule about being away form training for a month?

No hard and fast rule for strength loss during a month long layoff. There are lots of factors at play. Just try and see, and make adjustments over your first 3-4 workouts back.

You need to figure out why you stalled on the TM so quickly so you don't do it again.

Well one of the major factors was confidence I got stuck in the hole on my last rep of intensity day at 148 kg I had to dump the bar off my back as only had a squat rack and no safety bars. After that I seemed to go backwards at an alarming rate. That problem shouldnt be an issue now as I bought a power cage the a couple of weeks ago
