Default What's the benefit of squatting shoes?

I don't have any and I wondered if I should and why. What is the benefit of the raised heel? I don't wanna go and buy some and find I don't like them - I'm a bit poor at the moment!

The heel lift helps a fuck load to balance you. Try squatting in some dress shoes. that's what I did before getting my adiPowers. Helped me no end to stop me falling over backwards.

The non-compressible nature of the shoes was the first thing I noticed. This is speaking vertically (think "squish" of a shoe like a nike free) and horizontally (since I have flat feet the straps help prevent some pronation inward).

The grip feels increased, so that my foot is attached to the floor better.

I was skeptical of the "once you squat in WL shoes you won't go back" mantra, but am a believer now.
