    Default Headache

Hello, recently I've come down with a cold, I believe I've recovered, so I started training again, but I've notice Everytime I physically exert myself, I get a panging headache in Ty back of my head, that comes and goes after exertion. Any reason as to why this happens or what this is?

I read some where this could have been cause by over exertion, something to do with neck muscles pulling on skull, which sounds right because this only happens when I tense up my neck. Like on squats.

You might try the "Trigger Point Therapy Workbook." I'm using it for my shoulder pain and making good progress after everything else failed. The book has a chapter on head pain. If its muscle related, this could help.

I got an exertion headache once during a set of heavy deadlifts where my breathing was all wrong. It really scared me. I though I was having an aneurism or something. Make sure you are breathing correctly during your lifts.

Yeah a doctor recommended trigger point therapy. Where I love it costs gazillion dollars to get trigger point therapy done, so I'll try acupuncture and see how it goes.
