Thread: Removing OHP and Bench Press

Default Removing OHP and Bench Press

I have been doing the program poorly for seven months, not progressing much at all on those two upper body lifts and not knowing why. I'd rather not reinforce incorrect motor pathways any longer, so I want to instead do weighted dips and chip ups/pull ups until I can afford a strength coach to let me know what I'm doing wrong. Is this okay? Also, what frequency would you suggest for those two?

What are your numbers on bench and press? Maybe you're just not able to recover from stress workout-to-workout anymore, ie you are an intermediate on those lifts. Not all the lifts will stall at the same time on the program.

If he never got much progress to begin with then it is doubtful that he is an intermediate. Most likely he has some severe form issues and is probably underweight.

My bad, I thought he was saying that it was only his upper body lifts that were suffering.

If you can't pay for a coach you can upload a video in the technique section. Some of the coaches on here may even comment
