In the UK people would be disgusted by it. Anywhere that sold it would have some violent protesters. But it is stupid because they have to 'dispose' of a whole lot of horses here. Some get sent over to europe (spain etc) for meat, others get killed and used for pet food, glue etc...

I'm guessing he genuinely means horse meat. This is Kazakhstan we're talking here, where horse is probably the most popular meat. I doubt he'd want to insinuate drug use in public interviews related to the Olympics.
