Default Sprinting for strength and size

Read these articles and comment please. I am particularly interested in the last section of part two where it discusses the benefit of sprinting while trying to gain size on a calorie surplus.

    Here are the two links:

One of the things I noticed while watching some of the Olympic events the other day is how muscularity seemed to be inversely proportional to distance ran. The 100m guys were pretty ripped and even had fairly impressive shoulders and traps, while the middle-distance guys seemed to have CrossFitter-like physiques. And we all know how marathoners tend to look...........

EDIT: I know this has nothing to do with anything important, but the author of those articles comes across as a mega douche. "YO DAWG, I BE GETTIN ALL SCIENCY AND SHIT UP IN DIS BITCH, WORD!"

No, this is very important. You just saved me from clicking that link and wasting my time on that guy's thoughts.

The guy has a sense of humor, that's for sure. However, when I see how many threads there are on this site asking Rip how to get big and strong while not getting fat, I think the couple minutes it might take to read is well worth putting up with the guys goofiness.
