    08/06/12, Monday

    Squat 215x3x5
    Bench Press 145 x 4-4-4
    Power Clean 85x5x3
    Chinups BW x 2-1-1

I'm disappointed with the Bench Press, but I'll nail it on Friday. Power Cleans looked and felt like garbage. I'm working on them, though. I just got a belt (gonna try to use it on Wednesday), and I'm thinking about getting some good shoes.

    08/08/12, Wednesday

    Squat 220x3x5
    Press 115 x 3-4-4
    Deadlift 290x1x5

1st workout with the belt. Squats went fine, and I didn't really notice it. I should've gotten 4-5 reps on the 1st Press set (it was all mental). I'll get it on Monday. I used the belt and a mixed grip for the Deadlift work set. It actually felt better than 280. I noticed that my lower back was slightly rounded, though, so I need to work on that.

    08/10/12, Friday

    Squat 225x3x5
    Bench Press 145x3x5
    Row 120x3x8
    Pullups BW x 1-1-1

Bench Press was harder than I thought it would be. I need to work on keeping my back tight. I'm still not making progress on Pullups. I'm going to change something up.

    08/13/12, Monday

    Squat 230x3x5
    Press 115 x 4-4-4
    Power Clean 95x5x3
    Chinups BW x 3-2-2

I'm very disappointed with the Presses. I'll try to eat more this week and give it another go on Friday. Power Cleans weren't much better than last time, formwise. I just need more practice. Chinups went great! Over the weekend, I did a set of Chinups or Pullups every few hours. I'm going to keep doing this.

    08/15/12, Wednesday

    Squat 235x3x5
    Bench Press 150x3x5
    Deadlift 300x1x5

Squats were pretty difficult. On Bench Press, I took shorter breaths in between reps, and it helped me keep my back tight. I probably could've done a few more Deadlift reps. It feels good to get 3 PR's in one workout. So far, I've been doing all the lifts on carpet in my socks (not ideal, haha). I ordered some WL shoes from Rogue, and they should get here by Friday. I'm also going to make some of kind of platform out of plywood.

    08/17/12, Friday

    Squat 240x3x5
    Press 115x3x5
    Row 125x3x8
    Pullups BW x 2-2-2

I have a plywood platform to stand on, now. Squats and Presses went much better than last time. I really felt connected to the floor. On the Press, I also used shorter breaths between reps, and it helped with tightness. My hips started drifting higher on Rows (longer ROM). The Pullups went very well.

Thanks! I think I'll need at least a 350 lb Squat to get in the 1000 lb club. Hopefully, I can reach that while staying on LP.

You can!! I'm a genetic loser and yesterday I hit 377. Keep hard at it, don't under recover, and stay mentally strong and it's yours in no time. Keep it up!!
