    Default Lifting in Denver

    Hello all,
I'm traveling to Denver this week for work and if anyone can recommend a good gym in the area I'd greatly appreciate it.
    Many thanks.

I train at Crossfit unbroken. Bar bells, bumpers, sleds, stones, kbs (finally got the 3 pood in) etc. Where will you be staying?

Thanks very much Jamie. I discovered there's a Y 2 blocks from the hotel with a squat rack nobody uses so I wandered over there today. Thanks for the Englewood recommendation, though. I will definitely check it out if I end up in that neck of the woods. Now to find a grassy expanse across which to run sprints. Something tells me the denizens of that big park by the capitol may not be amenable.

Last time I was there I went to the Colorado Athletic club on Welton (16th st I think). It's walking distance to all the downtown hotels and it was great. 3 squat racks, 2 platforms and plenty of space. It's way better than what I typically get to use.
