    Thanks, Gillian. The other day when I squatted 210x10, I didn't stop because I didn't think my muscles could handle any more. I stopped because I thought I'd pass out. I've noticed a difference in my stamina since I quit ballet and started powerlifting. I went canoeing with my sis last year. She thought I'd make the boat go fast because I'm stronger, but nope. After three strokes of the paddle, my arms were filled with lactic acid and I was done. I guess that's what one gets for having fast twitch muscle as opposed to slow twitch.

    One pullup with slow, controlled lowering

    Those fraction plates seem to be working nicely for the bench.

    Indeed. But I sure do get a lot of questions about them. The 1/4 pounder looks like a piece of paper. The clip probably weighs more. Still, I like these curious-looking, successful methods.
