Jonathon Sullivan : The Importance of What We Do
- What any person does for themselves when they train - the benefits of strength training to our physiologic 401K.
- What we do for our clients across different populations.
- What we do for the greater community - the compression of morbidity.

Lecture recorded at the Starting Strength Coaches Association Conference, October 2012.

Thank you again, Sully. The world is a better place now that this lecture has been published.

Damn
I'll be damned- but Sully's a pretty craggy looking dude.
You wouldn't find me messing with him anytime soon.

This is exactly what I've been thinking! Thank you Mr. Sullivan!
-
That was fantastic. Why aren't any of my grad school professors so passionate and articulate?

Ms. Bradford,
I thought you might consider a lavalier microphone for some of your videos. Some of your speakers are quite ambulatory, and Rip's platform videos sometimes suffer from a large amount of reverb in the gym.
Cheers.

Thanks to Stef and Rip for putting this up for those of us who weren't there.
And thanks to Dr. Sullivan for the incredible speech. Extremely motivating to continue to do what I'm currently committed to (SS). I'm going to have to start showing this to all the people who doubt me when I say barbell training performed correctly has a massive amount of beneficial things to offer an individual.

This will be sent to all my direct reports, clients, potential clients, mentors, mentees and contacts in generatl
thank you for such a well done job
So important to articulate our WHY as strength coaches!!

Thanks, all. Glad it works.

He might know what he's talking about but why does he feel the need to drop the f-bomb and the s-bomb every 2 minutes? It kinda weakens the quality of his message. Sounds like a street thug, not a PhD.
