    I was due for a crappy workout and I was not disappointed this morning. Did it to myself by not getting good rest over the weekend. If I throw in the heavier part of my warm up I ended up doing a pyramid of 3 reps at 245, 275, 295, 305, 315, 315, 310, 295, 275 then 225 @ 5x3. I wonder if it will drive adaptation. For instance 315 5x5 is 7875lbs. If I say my top sets start at the first 315 set and go to the last 275 set, that's only 4530lbs, less than 60% of my target. Eff.

    light day.

    big warm up
    280 5x2, 275 x5, 245 x5, 225 x5
    upper body circuit (BP 205 5x3, rows 10x3, incline DBs 10x3, DB rows 10x3). felt pretty good. got really good sleep the last two nights. eating a lot but not indiscriminately (unless you count the coconut peanut butter).

    Between my recovery resources, my family and work schedule, and my shoulder problems, it is probably wise that I keep pushing the squat, hit DL, and just do a body building style upper body workout with some circuits, supersets, etc.

    worked up to a "heavy" single of 335 then 275 5x2, 225 10x1, 225 5x1. Heavy single of 335 kinda inadequate when my goal was 345 for 5. This week has been bad. Oh well. Onward.

    so between a lot of things (good things that take precedence over skwatz), I missed MWF this week. Back in the saddle next week.
