On October 17th Jonathon Sullivan, MD, PhD, FACEP, SSC will be presenting a talk entitled "The Iron Age: Resistance Training and the Metabolic Syndrome" at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA.
It begins at 7:30 pm and will end at approximately 8:45 pm. There will be time for Q&A. The location of the event is the Fred Rogers Center (yes, as in Mr. Rogers) at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe PA.
Sponsored by The Saint Vincent College Health and Fitness Club (www.svcfit.com/pces.html), the Physical Culture Education Series is designed to promote thoughtful discussion on all topics related to physical culture, health, fitness and training. Sully's lecture will be the second in this Series. You will recall on April 4th of this year we hosted Jordan Feigenbaum on campus. His full talk is available here -- http://startingstrength.com/index.ph...ioral_practice
The lecture is free and open to all interested. If you want to join us, send me a quick email at nicholas.racculia@stvincent.edu so we can ensure sufficient seating...we had to add seats to Jordan's lecture..
Directions to campus are located here: http://www.stvincent.edu/Explore_SVC...nd_Directions/

Awesome! I missed Jordan's presentation, I'm not missing this one!
All you forum guys need to come to this...
Jordan's lecture last semester was incredible. I expect this one will be excellent as well!
Certainly those of you who are within driving distance. Make your plans to attend, and then get beer together after the event. Could be an important evening.
Will this be recorded and posted like Jordan's speech was?
Prolly. You don't have a car?
