I used to warm up doing 10 to 15 minutes on an elliptical machine. After further research on this site I decided this type of warm up was affeating my training. I now warm up using the lifts. Like the book report ommends, I start with an empty bar and go from there. I use the elliptical for HIIT. I am 6
