There are 2 coaches in Ohio, one in Cleveland. I don't know if Brodie is taking appointments now, but you could ask him. I doubt he plans to open a gym soon, but he may have plans we don't yet understand.

The answer to these questions is always: train up, go to a seminar, then open one yourself.
Perhaps one day in Australia...
As I'm still not yet a recovering attorney (still in the denial stage that I have a problem), I don't have any plans on changing from Esquire to Gym Owner anytime soon. I do take appointments, but not right now due to work commitments that don't let me train myself, let alone train others.
Back in 2011, I asked Rip if he knew of any reputable coaches in the Cleveland area, since there was no Starting Strength Coach presence anywhere in Ohio at that time. His response: "Maybe you should just come to a seminar yourself." I did a year later and became the first SSC in Ohio.
Point being...there's nothing wrong with taking matters into your own hands.
Brodie's a great coach. I learned quite a bit in a single afternoon and it's made a big difference in my lifts.
the real question is when will a gym be coming to dallas
