It's difficult to determine the extent of your "knee slide" with the upright support in the way. What can be said, however, is that it is highly likely that your knees are extending far past your toes - this will result in, among other things, a loss of tension in the hamstrings and the consequent failure to fully engage the posterior chain. The TUBOW cue, which has been explored and discussed in depth on this forum and in the book, would be both appropriate and useful here.

and I know one of you coaches will say "don't do that",

but how do I make it stop ?

yes, I've read SS3(kindle), a couple times, but can't see my answer there

TUBOW is the customary recommendation. You need to get the knees to their spot 1/3-1/2 of the way down the descent and make them stay there, while your hips continue their descent to the bottom position, where you will feel your hamstrings stretched and ready to contract concentrically.

In other words, google this: TUBOW site:startingstrength.com

not as good as you'd look in a k-pop vid.

You've got the idea now. Keep that core braced tight throughout the reps. All the way around, abs too. Time to start thinking about buying a belt and proper shoes. Holidays are coming.

Not bad, Neil. Half way up you stop driving with your hips and you lift the chest instead. Stay with hip drive. Looking slightly downward will facilitate this. And do a better job of clamping hard with the abs. Valsalva maneuver.

Ya know, they never spell TUBOW in SS3,
closest I find is a block of wood,
had a hard time searching that there,
but found it in Figure 2-51.
    (Kindle Location 1465-1466)
"terribly useful block of wood" all spelt out, big words like , , ,
