    Default Deadlift form check

    Hello.

This is my first form check and post. I'm having problems with the deadlift. I have a tendency to get an outwards curve in my lower back. I've included the last warm up set to get two different angles.

Unfortunately I managed to place the bar in an unstable position on the platform, but I still have the problem with my lower back independent of that.

    Any tips?

    Thanks in advance!

Narrow your grip, a lot. Your hands should be placed just outside your shins. Also, you shouldn't need to pull with a mixed grip at this weight. Try a much narrower double overhand. Focus on pulling the bar into your shins, squeezing your chest up, and HOLDING your low back. Once all that is done, start the lift.

Thank you very much. I will focus on and try to fix the things you say.
