Default Lifting the chest on squats?

Hey coach....when I get to max weights I drive my hips up to come out of the whole, about half way up I feel my chest start to cave so I raise my chest to fight the caving. When I watched the vid, my lifting of the chest did not move the bar it only kept it over mid foot. I know on the DVD you tell that guy who was caving over to lift his chest to keep the hips and shoulders moving up at the same time. Is lifting the chest ok, as long as hips are what drive you up out of the whole and the bar path is not disturbed? I lift alone and video feedback is how I coach myself. Side not already registered for seminar at end of feb. I also have been competitive fighter since I was 5(kickboxing and MMA later on) am now 30. So Tspine extension is a huge weakness of mine. Thank you in advance!

This was a 1rep max test after running my LP going from 155 x5 to 405x1

I know you don't like 1 rep vids but it only show up 1 rep test days.

Note what happened to the bar speed when you attempted to raise your chest.

Why doesn't anyone trim their videos?

Because YouTube doesn't provide a convenient tool to either trim videos or remove audio tracks.

Do you always just wonder aloud, Dave?
