I did BB Curls 45x12x3 with a strict 60 second break between sets today after power cleans. Form was as suggested in the book - start at the top to take advantage of the eccentric contraction and allow the elbows to come forward out of the bottom.

Chins are obviously better if you can do them, but I'm a bit chunky around the middle, long armed, and never really had the success with the upper body lifts that I've enjoyed with the squat and deadlift, so I can usually only get 4 max (after power cleans) with the chin just barely clearing the bar.

First curls in over a year unless you count the time I picked the EZ bar off the floor and popped off a couple out of curiosity.
