I liked this. I get the impression that Jordan's been around the block a couple times when it comes to programming.

It should also be noted that our resident mad scientist John Hanley has made a number of interesting suggestions for Texas Method and late intermediate programming. It's worth following him around the forum.

I hired Jordan to do my programming, nutritional advice, and general coaching. It is via email as I don't live anywhere near to him, and not close to any SS coaches. I have absolutely amazing things to say about him, his work, his expertise, and working with him.

    Thanks,
    Devin

We try not to talk about Jordan that way in public.

    That is an excellent article.
I was wondering is Dr. GainzZz his official nickname now? I didn't think Rip would ever start a thread with that word...

On most of the examples given, the figures are shown as Reps x Sets.

In example 2 (The Problem: My Intensity Day (ID) weights aren’t going up.), for the light day, it is showing as 5x2. Can I confirm that this in fact really 5 sets of 2 reps? Or is it a type and should be 2 sets of 5?

I noticed that Jordan places deadlifts on volume day while PPST3 has deadlifts on intensity day. Why is this? Personally, I feel that I would have trouble pulling a 5rm deadlift after volume squats and presses.

I assumed it was because, if I recall correctly, an older version of Practical Programming had the TM placing deadlifts on VD.
