R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy
Rip,
Since you have admitted to being a trekkie in the past I just wanted to know if there was a favorite memory you had of Leonard Nimoy. He truly was a great and fascinating person.

There are things from our childhoods that are important to us, even though maturity has changed their positions within the hierarchy of our memory. Mr. Spock was important to a 10-year-old kid. Mr. Nimoy was therefore important to me. May he be remembered fondly by logical people.

On this day I shall mourn.

Maybe a suitably logical twist on Mr Spock's famous greeting might be "Live strong and prosper." He sure had an interesting life, may we all strive to do the same.

As a massive Trek fan myself, I considered Leonard Nimoy one of my idols. Such a wonderful human being too, the stories of his generosity and outreach to his fanbase are numerous. I also urge everybody to check out his final tweet, perfect last public words.
He will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on in the lives he touched.

He seemed like a great guy, he will be missed.
Here's a quick fact:
"Live Long and Prosper" the saying made famous by the Star Trek icon is based on the Priestly Blessing performed by Jewish Kohanim with both hands, thumb to thumb in this same position, representing the Hebrew letter Shin (ש), which has three upward strokes similar to the position of the thumb and fingers in the salute. The letter Shin here stands for El Shaddai, meaning "Almighty (God)"

Death takes place in the shadow of new life. He's not really dead if we find a way to remember him.

I know its only a car ad but its F'king genius.
