    Sorry for your loss Mark. Through guys like him and you the right ideas of how to be strong will be passed down through the ages. As a coach and a teacher I'm sure he will be missed.

    I only knew Bill through his writings (tsss, defying gravity and whatever article I could find.) He was very wise, knowledgeable, full of character and an inspiration.

    My sincere condolences to you(rip), the community and his family.

    My prayers go out to all his family and close friends. Bill was the most influential strength training author I ever read, and I learned more from his articles than all other sources combined. I, also, bought many magazines solely to read his work. A great resource has left us!

    I once heard it said it’s not who remembers your name, but the lives you’ve touched. Sounds like a lot of folks will remember the name of Bill Starr, and he directly and indirectly touched a whole lot more.
