One of my favorite things about the original publication was the pictures of people doing trendy exercises with weights that wouldn't strain a grandmother. It really reinforced the point.

I always love this article. I have a Master's in Strength and Conditioning and a BS in Exercise Science, both from different D1 public universities. I learned less than 1% I know from those classes, no one with either of the degrees I have is qualified to take anyone through anything outside of a machine based workout. It's ridiculous.

The professors/Instructors frequently have no training experience, no coaching experience, and their knowledge comes from a quick read of Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning. I've probably taken no less than 5 classes where all we did was learn to measure VO2 and Bodyfat%, booooo.
