I just started doing HIIT twice a week to do the same thing. I'm 5'9" and at 197lb. I have some excess chub I'd like to lose. I recall Jordan saying that losing around 1-2 lb a week would be ideal. I'm coming off an injury so I'm logging the HIIT sessions on my log as I get back into the swing of things. I was nearing the end of LP before the slight layoff. I believe I just have to be diligent in meeting my macro requirements, esp protein, to be able to maintain and increase stength. We'll see what my data point contributes.
