    Hello,

Thanks in advance guys for any input.

Here is my 2nd set at 320.

I moved to Advanced Novice recently, this is a heavy day. I don't have the experience to critique my form but I can say I need to go deeper. Any other suggestions ?

Your stance is a bit wide, you are not getting depth, and you are lifting your chest. Take a shoulder width stance and point your toes out at 30 degrees. Drive your knees out. I predict this will get you to proper depth. Keep your chin down and drive your butt up. A low bar squat comes from the hips.

Thank you Tom for the tips, I will work on these then, I guess I have to reduce the weight and start again.

I would take about 10 kg off, make those changes, and see how things feel.

Hi Tom , here is a second attempt https://youtu.be/derCebC5H7Y

This is 320 , 1st set, looks quite hard, always my 1st set is the hardest for some reason

Unfortunately I didn't see your post so I went by feel and tried the same weight, I narrowed my stance to shoulder width and my depth looks deeper, however I don't really understand how to drive my ass up without lifting the chest too. Is any rep from this proper to get an example ?

Do you see how your knees move forward through the whole rep? Get them in place by about half way down. Then, drive up with your hips. Read what I said about stance and toes above and try them out.
