Advanced Novice Question
I've been following the basic program outlined in SS for a while now. I've finally had to reset my squat and press. The Bench is still moving but I can tell it's getting close (the jumps are small and the weight feels very heavy).
My plan is to move to the "advanced novice" template outlined in PP and then go back to Crossfit as my "intermediate" programming once I've exhausted all my potential linear progress.
In the "advanced novice" template, you suggest utilizing front squats on Wednesdays to provide additional recovery for the backsquat. Should the front squat be used in a 3x3 fashion as outlined in the Texas Method? Or should it be used in a 3x5 fashion similar to what would typically be used for Powercleans? Thanks.
